Mentor Huebner
was the Primary Production Illustrator for Director Tommy Schlamme's
notable film: SO I MARRIED AN AXE MURDERER. The Film, a mixture
of Comedy and a Crime, is filled with complicated and essential
visual gags that left the audience breathless with laughter. Mike
Meyer's, comedic genius, known more for his Austin Powers roles,
is hilarious in this incredible film.
Mentor choreographed
every inch. When an actor's role calls for falling off a peaked
roof top, it's best if they don't really fall off the roof. It's
important to see in advance exactly what will happen.
The six Conceptual
Story Boards shown here are not in Sequence. They just represent
a small scattering. Later complete scenes in proper sequence will
be published.
A
bit of Trivia: One of Mike Meyer's friends happened to live across
the street form Mentor's Studio and so he was able to race the
drawings to the Film Studio, hot off the press, daily.
