Mentor
Huebner, was a well known Post Impressionist Painter. And they
are into 'light'. He specialized in oils. He traveled extensively
throughout the world, painting some 2000 landscapes, seascapes
and cityscapes. He always said that he preferred the light in
Los Angeles, to the light in any other city. To catch the 'light'
he would work at top speed. He could complete a landscape in one
day. Not as easy to do with oil as with watercolors. He used a
palette knife and expensive paint and excellent varnish. His paintings
will last 500 years.

Picture industry Icon, Mentor Huebner, were shot by two talented
brothers, Academy Award wining Visual Effects Artist's, Robert
and Dennis Skotak. ~ Robert Skotak is an Effects Supervisor, Film
Historian, Writer, Author, Editor and Publisher. Dennis Skotak
is a Cinematographer, Lighting and Color Expert. The Skotaks working
as a team are the exclusive archivists and official photographers
for the collection of Mentor Huebner's artwork.
